Andy and I went to the movies yesterday, in NYC, to watch Jumper. Jumper is by far THE WORST movie I’ve ever seen in my short life. This movie lacked substance and it just plain sucked. I will not even recommend this movie to my worst enemy (on second thought yes I would). And to top it off, I am even more pissy for paying $23 on this damn movie. My gosh. I wish I saw something else.

While watching the previews, I saw another movie that looks very interesting. It’s called WANTED. Check it out!

But I must admit, this movie reminds me of the Matrix. Oh well, I will be watching June 27th 2008.

Andy and I decided to spend one night in NYC last night and we wanted to get some Chinese food. We were at Grand Central Terminal waiting for the 6 train and we saw Zoe Kravitz and Ben Foster running to catch the 4 train but they missed it. I have a very good eye  for spotting celebs and I said to Andy, “Andy guess who that is?” He was like who?  And I told him it was Zoe Kravitz and that guy from Xmen with the wings. Of course Andy wasnt sure but he asked if I was sure. I told him, “Oh yeah! Its them alright.”

They were dressed cool and casual but you can tell they didnt want to be noticed because they wore hats and they didnt really make eye contact. Andy wanted to ask them for a pic but I told him to not worry bc I could tell they wanted their privacy. Plus I was in the subway and if we took a pic with them, everyone would’ve been nosy and asking for a pic too. But believe in me, if we were in a side street somewhere and no one was around I would have asked for a photo op.

They look so cute together. And she was carrying the same bag she had in the pic above. Nice. They ended up taking the 6 train with us but I’m not sure where they got off because they were in another car. Probably at Union Square.

No silly, its not my baby shower (at this rate I dont think I will ever have a baby shower) but a co-worker of mine, Ed, had one. I used to think that baby showers were a bunch of women who gave gifts, gossip and drank. But this baby shower was full of family and friends, both men and women. It was a nice set up.

They had great Caribbean food and music. Andy and I came three hours late because we had to run errands. Ed understood. I didnt take much pictures, as usual, but I took something. Here’s what I got them…

Im upset that I didnt take more pictures of the father. Dont worry. I work with him. He will give me a picture if he likes it or not.

Why do people try to make things bigger than what they seem? I have been searching the net all day looking for the “blown up” clip about Jay-z and Rihanna and their awkward moment. The moment wasnt awkward at all.

But I do find it awkward she hugged Jay-Z rather than her parents.

I finally finished my ”baby steps cloth” and it looks nothing like the picture. One foot looks like a foot and the other foot looks like an alien foot. It has three toes and it looks extra long. I’ll admit that in the process of knitting I accidentally skipped two rows, however, as far as the foot being long and skinny I dont get it. I follow the instructions to a “T”. I dont know. I will definitely try again another day. I refuse to post the pic because I’m lazy.

April Fools has not come, however, I have a feeling that I have been fooled. This song is bad (as in good) but the video was terrible. What the hell happened Kanye? You should have taken your time making this video. I understand you were probably still morning your mom’s death, but I have all the time in the world to give you so you can deliver a banging video for this song. I am not pleased.

Everytime I played this song I envisioned a young lady walking the streets of NYC and all donned in the finest clothing and Kanye is walking behind her just doing his thing. That would have been a hot video.

Can someone hire me to be the creative mind behind music videos? I cant believe it. Please Kanye, please do this video over. Please! Here’s the link of this atrocious piece of work.
