Marc Jacobs unvieled these gawd-awful shoes at New York Fashion Week last month. I dont get this at all. The attraction of the ”heel” is the height of them. These shoes are ugly and not attractive at all. I hope it doesnt became a trend. This is ridiculous. Marc, what were you drinking?

I have a bad feeling that its going to be a trend. Believe me I love clothes and accessories that are eccentric and unique, but this is taking it to the next level. They dont even look comfortable.

I cant believe that anyone can catch a bus or taxi in these. Here’s Parker Posey at the Seventh on Sale gala in NYC this past Thursday.

A few days ago Andy got a letter from the Borgata Hotel and Casino for a “comp”room. I really want to go back but Andy doesnt have time in his busy schedule to lose any more money. We will def go back in the new year.

Between Andy working on project(s) at his job and my going to Africa this Xmas and New Years (miss you Andy) we dont have time to breathe. So hopefully the Borgata sends us another comp room offer.

One of my favorite shows, Big Shots, from what I hear is cancelled. That cant be. It’s a good show. I cant believe it. Or maybe its a rumor? I noticed that the show is not scheduled on my cable menu but then again, the season may have been over.  Hmmmm? We shall see.

Arbor Man?

As I mentioned before, I purchased the Sephora Blockbuster Palette and it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The makeup they had there did nothing for me.

I had better results from inexpensive drug store makeup. I just dont think it worked well with my skin tone. It’s funny because looking back when I first bought it I asked the sales “consultant” will it work well for my skin tone and she said, “Oh yeah, most people are a little afraid to ‘experiment’ with the colors but once you ‘play’ around with them then you’ll be fine.”

One thing I learned in life is once someone starts explaining too much about something, 9 times out of 10 they are lying or dont know what they are talking about. I quickly returned the makeup for a full refund. Never again!

Andrew’s birthday is Nov. 21st but I wanted to give him his presents today. Besides, Andy wanted his gift today so it was his decision if he wanted his gifts today. Anyways, I was at work and I decided to buy his gifts afterwork. I didnt want to go to the gym today because my “aunt” came and I wasnt feeling well.

Right after work, I drove to the mall and I pulled out my list of items to buy for Andy. I went to Neiman Marcus and bought him these nice pair of Prada shoes.

He loves them. Please note that I didnt buy him the patent leather sneakers. I bought the all leather.

Then I went over to Banana Republic and bought him a sweater and and a pair of trousers.

He wore everything and he got in front of the mirror and thought he was looking sexy. He’s so cute. He deserves it and I love him.

Kanye West’s mother, Donde West, died in Los Angeles today. The cause of death is unknown although there are some rumors she died because of complications due to a plastic surgery operation. My prayers go out to the family. Click on image to read more.
