I went to Pathmark this morning to buy toilet paper and I got home happy that I got that out of the way. When I went to use the bathroom, I opened the pack of paper and to my surprise I picked up paper towels. I had to drive all the way back to Pathmark and made sure that I didnt make the same mistake. Now the tissue is sitting in my car because I had to get to work and I didnt have time to go home.
I havent done much this weekend. On Saturday, I went to “school” because I signed up for the Kaplan GMAT course. I really want to improve my score. It was a good class. I hope I learn a lot from this class so I can improve my score on the GMATs.
Later that day, Big head and I went to NYC to eat at Negrils Jamaican Restaurant. The food was ok. Unfortunately, I would have gotten better food eating at the local Jamaican restaurant for far less. But it was an experience. And finally yesterday (Sunday) I went to the mall to get a few things and I drove over to Target to buy cereal. I came home and I became upset because I forgot to buy tissue. I have to remember to buy some today after work.
I am also stressed about getting into graduate school. I am not getting the support that I thought I would get. Instead of people who supposedly ”care” for you providing their time and effort to help out with college essays or getting a better score on my GMATs, they tend to criticize any idea you have without providing an idea of their own. Then when you tell them the ideal school you would like to go to, they sound doubtful that you will get in. I like to strive for things that some people may feel is “unreachable”. And if I dont succeed in reaching that goal at least I had the guts to try.
Certain people may say that they will support you but as a woman, especially, you just know that its not the case. People who know me know that whatever I do I put my all into it. I am very optimistic that once I get into a good graduate school I will do my best and eventually graduate and become successful. I never settle for less. I am going to do me and whomever is not willing to support me now, dont even dare ask me for a handout later. Period.
Sorry I havent posted much. I have been busy with writing essays for graduate school. I decided I am going to retake the GMATs to get a better score. I really want to go to this school and it would really benefit me if I retake the test. I am not going to mention the school(s) I am considering, yet, but when everything starts rolling I will let you know.

I took the GMATs yesterday and they were tough. I am just waiting for my official score but from looking at the unofficial score, I was not too impressed. I took the test on a whim because one morning I woke up and decided, “I should apply to graduate school”. And the following week, yesterday, I took the test. I did not have enough time to study, however, I felt that with God’s grace I will get a high score. Well I guess God was very busy yesterday because He didnt help my score. I will just have to wait until I get my official scores. Until then…

I am going to Florida with big head, Andrew, in May for a week. I cant wait. I need a vacation :-). I promise to take lots of pictures.
I am going to fail the GMAT. I have studied so hard and I am so sure I am not going to do well. My test is today, in about 3 hours and I am nervous as all hell. I think its unfair to admit someone into graduate school all because of one test. Grant it, these business schools I am considering, state that the test is only “a portion of what we look at when we consider an applicant.” Yeah Right!!! This test is a make or break test. I know darn well if I dont get a decent score on my GMATs, I am not going to get into Business school. I want to go back to school but I cant if I dont do well on this exam. Isnt it a shame when you try to do the “right thing” and there are certain obstacles that prevent you from doing the “right thing”. 
Life isnt fair.
