I havent seen my mom in weeks

28 01 2007

Last nite, my mom called bc she is looking to buy a printer 2day. It’s been a while since I’ve seen my mom so it would be a great opportunity to hang out with her and catch up. I also need to ask her what would be a great gift for a friend a mine who is having her ten year anniversary today. I hope my friend is not reading my blog today bc then it will kill the surprise. The last time I spoke to my friend, she was sick and bedridden so hopefully she is away from the computer today.

From what I read, a traditional ten year anniversary gift would be aluminum and tin. It believe it or not, it sounds like a tough task. Hopefully, I find something today.

Can anyone show me how to do this…?

27 01 2007

I know this dance is old, but I want to learn it.

I know, I suck but I could never perfect this dance. When I do it, I look like a spazzed out scarecrow. It’s a darn shame. My bf, who’s Jamaican, said that he will leave me if I dont perfect the dance. Just kidding, he didn’t say that. But it doesnt mean he wasn’t thinking it :-). Anyway, if this little girl can do it, I can do it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a good porno

27 01 2007

Black Snake Moan, a porno film directed by Craig Brewer (who also directed Hustle and Flow),  stars Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci.

Sammy L. plays a God-fearing musician who takes in Christina Ricci’s character who was sexually abused as a child. Sounds like a very good storyline for a porno movie to me. I may have to take my bf to see it with me, just in case I get all ”excited” during the movie :-).

This movie premieres February 23rd in theatres everywhere. To read more about Black Snake Moan, check it out here,  because “Everything’s hotter down South.”

Let me be honest with you

26 01 2007

I applied for a new position within my company and the “appointment” I was talking about was actually an interview. I didnt want to say interview, at first, because I didnt want to jinx it. So far everything is going well. I went on two interviews, actually three (one is a peer interview), and I have one more to go. I am still nervous about it because you never know what will happen. I pray everything goes well and I hope you all pray for me too. My next and final interview is Friday, February 2nd.

Would you drink from this?

26 01 2007

I saw this pic on one of my favorite blogs, Dlisted . I want to know who would seriously drink from this contraption? I would feel weird. My bf may not even want me to drink from this thing Ha Ha Ha!

I am having my second “appointment” this morning and I am nervous. I dont know why. Maybe its because I want it so bad. If I get it I will be so happy and it will definitely be a better option for me besides the situation I’m in now.

I am getting ready at the moment and I hope all is well. I will keep you posted on the situation l8r.
