Just learned today that Andy finished Call of Duty 4. We just got the game not too long ago and Andy finished it. Either the game is too easy or he skipped a few levels. And knowing Andy, I know COD was easy for him. Hey babes!

As for my breadandbutter, so far things are going OK. Tomorrow, my department is setting up a “fun day” for us and myself and a few of my colleagues are going to sing and dance. We want to liven things up and have fun to start off the weekend. We are going to sing karaoke and our group is called “Donell and the Donettes”. I know the name is cheesy but I kind of like it. Donell is the name of this girl I work with and she’s too funny. We decided to name our group after her because 1. She insisted and 2. She worked really hard today to hit goal and we thought it would be nice to grant her wish of naming the group “Donell and the Donettes”. 

Dont bother to look for our cd in stores. She cant sing.

Wish us luck! I hope we “raise the roof” off the building so I can escape and go home and never come back. LOL! I hate that place.

I have been thinking for the past few days and decided to stop driving to work starting in June. I cant afford to pay for gas and the $43 a month parking fee. The company I worked for never charged for parking until last year when my current company bought them out. Life is costing me a fortune.

Food is becoming more expensive and gas and even parking. If I take the train (which thankfully is near my house) it will cost be about $41 a month. This way I will save money on gas and dont pay for parking. I think it should be a crime to charge employees for parking. Its utterly ri*damn*diculous!

Well I am def going to stop driving to work. I may stop before June, but we’ll see.

I am officially a Credit Analyst at my job. I want to say thanx to everyone who prayed for me. I passed the Boards successfully. I will be performing my duties tomorrow as an analyst.

P.S.- Eric Bana and I go way back. LOL… j/k!

Well I took the exam today and I got a perfect score. I’m so happy. I have a final exam to take next Friday and the Boards in about two weeks. I am so nervous. The Boards is basically when a couple of people come from Delaware to test you on your analytical skills and see if you qualify enough to analyze and make judgemental decisions on applications. Cant wait til its over. Wish me luck!

Hola Everybody! Mi nombre es Lovet y yo estoy hablando espanol porque… and I dont know how to say the rest in Spanish. Anyway, I’m am trying to speak Spanish because 1) I always had the desire to speak another language and since I took three years of Spanish in high school, I might as well learn it. And 2) I realized in order to get a decent salary at my pob, it pays to know how to speak Spanish.

Spanish is the second most popular language in the United States and it would benefit me greatly, especially professionally, to learn the language. It’s bad enough that I am not compensated well for being college educated and being an exceptional employee. The only way I can get a decent salary is to learn Spanish. And that’s what I’ll do.

I understand it may be a challenge for me, but I’m determined because I refuse to be under a glass ceiling when it comes to my earning potential.

Today is my third day of training for my new position at my job and I cant wait for it to be over. Dont get me wrong, the class is great and full of imformation but there are a few characters in my class that annoy the ish out of me.

There are a couple of people who ask the same questions and dont pay attention. And there are people, no I’m lying, one girl in class whose nose is so brown it’s not even funny. Hot Damn! I hate people like that. Cant wait til its over. From what I understand my training will be over in about six weeks.

I got the job. Hooray!!!

I wonder why?

After a stressful and nerve-racking morning at work, I successfully finished Round 1 of the interview process. Round 2 will be sometime early next week. I’ll keep you posted.

ETA: I just finished my second (and I hope last)  interview today. It wasnt so bad. I exhibited confidence and I kept good eye contact. I am very optimistic that I get the position. He said I will hear from them by the end of this week or next Monday. All I can do is pray. If I dont get it, I wont worry. I will just try again next time.

I’m trying to post for a new position within my company and I am so nervous and a little stressed. Can you believe I have to study for the interview? Yes, I have to read over the regulations and memorize them.  I am absorbing the information but there is always this fear of going *blank* on the day of the interview/exam. Just wish me luck. I will tell you all about 2morrow.

There is  a God. My job’s computer system was down so my boss sent us home. Yay!!! Now I have time to do my laundry, my hair, and catch up on sleep. I was thinking about stopping by my friend Candyce’s house, but my car battery is bad and I dont want to drive all the way to her house and get stuck. Maybe next time.
