FYI: I had the fried oreos and they are very good but I only had a bite because I’m trying to cut down on bad food. And these pictures were taken from my camera phone. They came out better than the pics I took at the club.

My co-worker Richard asked me to come out and party to unwind and also it was his cousin’s birthday. I work with both Richard and his cousin. His cousin is one of the managers at my job.

Anyway, I went to the Voro Lounge and Restaurant in South Orange, NJ and boy I really had a good time. Before I went to the club/lounge, it took me about 15 minutes to decide  to go out. I changed shoes, I fixed myself in the mirror a few times and comtemplated on whether or not I should enter the world of “clubbing”.

I grinned and beared the idea of going out tonight and I wanted to see what “going out” to a lounge/club was like but was very intimidated and nervous since I was basically going by myself. I finally arrived at Voro and saw Richard parking then we entered inside. I got a couple of drinks and even after the first two sips, I was tipsy. Boy I am a light weight. I am still drunk as I am typing.

I really had a good time. I was really tempted to dance but I didnt want to. Maybe its because half of the people at the club were my co-workers that I see every single day. It was getting crowded so I decided to leave. I even came back inside because I was too drunk and I didnt want to drive and get into an accident.

After sitting around for a few minutes I went home. I managed to get home safely. I can honestly say again that I had a really good time and I will definitely do it again. I am so excited that I went out tonight. I was bored and I wanted to visit Voro since it’s down the street from my house. I tried to take pictures but it didnt come out good. The pictures are of Richard and myself and Richard’s friend, Judex and his date. Judex is my ex’s high school friend. Small world.

Oh gosh, I feel nauseous.

I wish I was off today, but I’m not :-(. As a matter of fact, I have to get ready for work in about 5ive minutes. Anyways, it was a bittersweet conclusion to my GMAT prep class. The last class was on Saturday. This class really helped me to build confidence in myself so I can do well on the test. I dont regret paying $1400 for the class. I just think of it as an investment. If I dont get a high score on the exam, So what! That 3-digit number is not a measure of my abilities. So long Scott! You were the best and only tutor I ever had :-).

Yesterday, I had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with my mom and Andy. We had a good time and we ate a lot. We talked about our childhood and I learned something very interesting about my mom. She was a bad girl :-0. I dont want to mention the details of her childhood, but to give you an understanding of her adolescence I asked my mom, “So mom what’s the name of the high school you went to?” And then she asked, “Which one? I was kicked out of so many.” Wow! I love you mom. You’re my hero :-).

I hope you and hubby had a good time at Atlantic City this weekend. I wish I could come, but I couldnt. Call me

This weekend I was in NYC having a grand all time. Friday I went to work at 9am and then went to class. After class, I rushed over to Target and tried to look for an outfit. They didnt have anything good so I bought a pair of white wedge shoes instead.

I quicky drove home to get ready. It took me about 3 hours to unbraid my hair but I was running late so I couldnt finish taking my braids out. I showered and got ready. Since I was running late, I was lucky to get a ride from Andy. He drove me to Newark Penn Station where I took the PATH train. I called my girl, Bryanna, and we met on the train but we were in different cars. She got on at Journal Square,before me, so we didnt see each other until we reached 23rd st. We looked cute. We walked over to Tillman’s lounge and the place was packed. There we met up with Angie and Candy. We had a good time. I had some drinks and there I met Angie’s daughter Juanita and her friend, Amy.

After Tillman’s we took a cab over to a night club and I had another drink. I then became drunk. My friends didnt want me to go home so we got a room at the Holiday Inn. So I spent the night in NYC. It was my first time spending the night in NYC. Am I the only one? Anyways, I woke up and we had breakfast and we went over to 5th Ave to see the Gay Pride Parade. I had a good time. After a long day watching gay men and women half naked, Angie, Bryanna, Candyce and I strolled over to Cowgirls in the village to get the grub. The food was good but the place was packed full of gay people. Everywhere I turned, they were there drinking and having a good time. It was a fun and relaxing environment.

After lunch, I wanted to go to the bathroom. So the girls and I walked downstairs and lo and behold there was a long line for the ladies room. I had to go to the bathroom so bad, I decided to go to the men’s room. I mean no harm no foul. The men were gay so they wouldnt like to see what I had anyway :-). Too make a long story short, I used the bathroom and it was disgusting. Never again will I use the men’s room. Ugh!!! I was so tired I wanted to go home so after an hour of walking around in circles trying to get to the PATH train station, I finally got on the train and was home. I had a good time and I will def do it again. Here are some pics…

It’s 10:12 pm and I need to sleep for work 2morrow at 9am. But I cant because I need to do my hair for cocktails 2morrow nite. I am happy. I need to relax. My friend, Angie, wants me to meet her at NYC at 10pm and I emailed her back telling her it was too late. I am getting corny. I mean I used to hang out late all the time, but now it seems I dont stay out past 11 pm. I need to get out more. Angie, I’ll c u there.

I miss u girl. I cant wait to see you today. Yes, i am going to meet my other favourite gyal, Shanna. We are going to meet at Fridays and catch up as well. I love u girl. I will post pics of our meet up. I’ll keep u posted.

I havent seen my girls Angela and Candyce since her birthday back in March. I miss them. I came over to visit them yesterday and I had a great time. I brought Brady also. She wasnt a good house guest. She was snapping at everyone. That freaking bitch. She swears she wears the pants in the relationship. Anyways, we chat it up and at Mickey D’s and chat some more. We had time to catch up and soon we r going to hang out again. I took a couple of pics of Candyce but my Sony digicam didnt do her beauty justice. LOL, did you like that one Candy? Next time, I will def take a picture of her and Angie. I love u guys!

P.S.- I will think of a nickname for u too Angela. Dont think I forgot.

Friday evening, after work, I went with “the gang” from work to throw some balls down the lane. We met up at the bowling alley on Rte. 22 and we had a good time. I had one bottle of Corona and already I was f%*&ed up. I am not a big drinker. After one glass, bottle or cup of alcohol, I get tipsy. I mean I guess that’s a good thing. Here are some pics of me and my co-workers. The picture quality is terrible. I dont know what’s going on with my camera. I think I have it on the wrong setting or something.

The people I talk to the most at work is Alton (aka Altonater) and Bryanna. But I like hanging out with everyone. I had a good time. Then on Saturday, I took my grandma out and got her some shoes. Andy came along as well and treated us to dinner. I wanted to take my grandma out because she was traveling back to Africa this Saturday, April 21st, and I wanted to get her out of the house. She really appreciated what I did for her. I’m happy :-).

Sunday, it rained so hard almost every street was blocked. I just stayed home and watched T.V. and did some research because I am planning on going back to school. Yay!!! I’ll keep you posted on that.

And today, work was fine. My educator/trainer didnt come to work bc her basement was flooded so a couple of managers came by and taught us a few things about the system. The day went by quick which was cool and I’m looking forward to 2morrow.
