I should start taking vitamins again. I get very tired too quickly. I will post more stories on my blog this weekend. After my long work shift, I am too tired to do anything. I am off Fridays so expect more posts towards the weekend.

Not posting enough stories/news is very unacceptable. I especially know two co-workers, Kim and Donell, who yearn (yes I said yearn) for my information and it would be “unjust” to not provide them with that. LOL! I know I will be hearing about this 2morrow.

I wanted to post some pics of me and a few of my friends enjoying ourselves in NJ, watching boats near their house and eating in NYC. I had a really great weekend and I really needed it. Thanx Candyce, Angela, and Bry for a nice weekend.

Medicare In A Nutshell

The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, ‘Hello.’
‘Mrs. Ward, please.’
‘Speaking.’
‘Mrs. Ward, this is Doctor Jones at the Medical Testing Laboratory. When your doctor sent your husband’s biopsy to the lab yesterday, a biopsy from another Mr. Ward arrived as well, and we are now uncertain which one is your husband’s. Frankly the results are either bad or terrible.’
‘What do you mean?’ Mrs. Ward asks nervously.
‘Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer’s and the other one tested positive for AIDS. We can’t tell which your husband’s is.’
‘That’s dreadful! Can’t you do t he test again?’ questioned Mrs. Ward.
‘Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time.’
‘Well, what am I supposed to do now?’
‘The people at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don’t sleep with him.’

No silly, its not my baby shower (at this rate I dont think I will ever have a baby shower) but a co-worker of mine, Ed, had one. I used to think that baby showers were a bunch of women who gave gifts, gossip and drank. But this baby shower was full of family and friends, both men and women. It was a nice set up.

They had great Caribbean food and music. Andy and I came three hours late because we had to run errands. Ed understood. I didnt take much pictures, as usual, but I took something. Here’s what I got them…

Im upset that I didnt take more pictures of the father. Dont worry. I work with him. He will give me a picture if he likes it or not.

My highschool buddy, Toni,  asked me to attend her housewarming soiree this past Saturday. It was a nice mixer. Most of the people who attended worked with her. After drinking like a half of bottle of beer, I felt a little tipsy and was too tired to take much pictures. Besides, I didnt want to take pictures and have to deal with people saying, “Oh I dont want my picture taken. Blah, blah, blah”.

My co-worker and long time friend, Richard, has invited myself and Andy tonite to his birthday party. We are going to the Feelgood Lounge in Secaucus and I am still sick and very tired, but I’m still going because this will be the first time…ever, that Andy and I have ever been to a lounge/club. Plus, I also gave Richard my word so I want to at least show my face.

And its like hand numbing, nail biting, snot freezing cold outside but we’re still going. The icing on the cake will be if we both have a really great time. We’ll see. I’ll keep you posted.

I was trying to post some pics of my evening with old friends this past Sunday at the bowling alley and for some reason I was not able to post any of the pics on my blog. I’m not sure if its the setting on my camera but I will try to fix that by the end of this week.

I would like to give a Shout Out to Jenine C. for being a frequent reader (and commenter) on my blog. I’ve known her since high school and she’s still cool. Get in touch with me Jenine so we can have lunch :-).

FYI: I had the fried oreos and they are very good but I only had a bite because I’m trying to cut down on bad food. And these pictures were taken from my camera phone. They came out better than the pics I took at the club.

My co-worker Richard asked me to come out and party to unwind and also it was his cousin’s birthday. I work with both Richard and his cousin. His cousin is one of the managers at my job.

Anyway, I went to the Voro Lounge and Restaurant in South Orange, NJ and boy I really had a good time. Before I went to the club/lounge, it took me about 15 minutes to decide  to go out. I changed shoes, I fixed myself in the mirror a few times and comtemplated on whether or not I should enter the world of “clubbing”.

I grinned and beared the idea of going out tonight and I wanted to see what “going out” to a lounge/club was like but was very intimidated and nervous since I was basically going by myself. I finally arrived at Voro and saw Richard parking then we entered inside. I got a couple of drinks and even after the first two sips, I was tipsy. Boy I am a light weight. I am still drunk as I am typing.

I really had a good time. I was really tempted to dance but I didnt want to. Maybe its because half of the people at the club were my co-workers that I see every single day. It was getting crowded so I decided to leave. I even came back inside because I was too drunk and I didnt want to drive and get into an accident.

After sitting around for a few minutes I went home. I managed to get home safely. I can honestly say again that I had a really good time and I will definitely do it again. I am so excited that I went out tonight. I was bored and I wanted to visit Voro since it’s down the street from my house. I tried to take pictures but it didnt come out good. The pictures are of Richard and myself and Richard’s friend, Judex and his date. Judex is my ex’s high school friend. Small world.

Oh gosh, I feel nauseous.
