I finally finished my basketweave scarf. I think I did pretty well for someone who just learned how to knit. Tomorrow I will be going to class to knit a washcloth and after that my next project is to knit a hat. Knitting Rocks!

I think I know where my camera battery charger is. It’s probably at my mom’s house. Let’s just cross our fingers.
ETA: I found my battery charger, among other things, at my mom’s house. I guess she had it since we came back from Nigeria. I’m relieved now. Now I can post my pics.
Yesterday, I just signed up to take a knitting class near my house and I am excited. All weekend, I have been researching and looking up patterns and projects to knit. My first class is this Wednesday (if I am able to change my hours at work). My “teacher” said we will either be making waschloths or scarfs. I may want to make a washcloth only because I dont have one and making a scarf I can do that at home. Or in fact, I can make both.
Anyways, I want to post pictures of all of my work. Unfortunately I misplaced my camera battery charger and I cant post any pics. The battery is dead. I believe its somewhere in my house and not in Nigeria. I will keep looking. If not, then I will have to buy one. Anyways, wish me luck and pray that i get this knitting thing down pat so I can make a nice sweater, hat and a pair of socks.
I dont know what to do. I want to learn how to knit/crochet but I am just too busy to learn. I would love to knit a cute sweater or a pair of booties for my baby. Why pay $50 for a damn sweater where I can knit one for about $5 (materials included). And I can make it the way I want it to look.
I dont know. I guess I will join some time of knitting group and learn before I am pregnant and pop out my first baby. LOL! We shall see.
