This week has been tough for both me and Andy. I am moving from my apartment to his place and July 31st is the last day before I hand over the keys. I have so much junk Andy just looks at me with this, “You betta straighten this ish out before you move into my apartment.”.

See Andy doesnt like junk. His apartment is so clean and everything has its place. Now there’s at least six bags of junk in his foyer and a lot more in his pickup truck. Oh well, Andy knows its just temporary. Sorry for not blogging much. After tomorrow a HUGE weight will be lifted off our shoulders.

Thanx Andy for helping me clean my apartment. I really appreciate you.

I dont like to count my eggs before they hatch but so far so good. I’m talking about Andy and me. After he realized what a good woman he lost, LOL, he wants to take it to the next level. I am going to move in with him. And I’m very excited. We’ve bought furniture and lately we’ve been shopping around for electronics. I cant wait. I’ll keep you posted.

This past weekend, I started making Andy a scarf and myself a hat. This time I made his scarf using a different type of yarn. His scarf wont be as soft as mine and he wanted a dark brown color. And he wanted it really thick and wide to protect him from the cold since he commutes to NYC everyday via train. I am almost finished and I can honestly say I am not a big fan of the scarf. It looks plain but Andy likes it a lot. I guess its what the customer wants.

I’m also going to be making some hats. One is for practice and the other ones will be a tam/beret. It will be with the same soft Homespun yarn I used for my beautiful purple scarf.

Please note: The tan colored hat pictured above will be the practice hat. Click on image for pattern. I’m making my hat a little different.

Will post finished product. Hopefully, when I’m done it looks and feels like a hat.

I am so proud of myself. I finished yet another scarf and this one is far better than the last one. The color is even prettier too. Andy reluctantly modeled this one for me. He’s very helpful (only when I threaten him). I had to ”lie” and tell him that I was only going to take a picture of him from the neck down. Hee! Hee! Hee! I got more than that.

I will be starting a hat. This will be my first time making a hat. I’m going to try and teach myself first and if I cant make it then I will go to a class or something. We shall see.

I dont like these pictures of myself. I look bad. But Andy likes the pics. Ugh! Anyway, here are pics of me and Andy’s visit to Queens with his lil sis to see his dad and big bro.

Andy and I went to the movies yesterday, in NYC, to watch Jumper. Jumper is by far THE WORST movie I’ve ever seen in my short life. This movie lacked substance and it just plain sucked. I will not even recommend this movie to my worst enemy (on second thought yes I would). And to top it off, I am even more pissy for paying $23 on this damn movie. My gosh. I wish I saw something else.

While watching the previews, I saw another movie that looks very interesting. It’s called WANTED. Check it out!

But I must admit, this movie reminds me of the Matrix. Oh well, I will be watching June 27th 2008.

Andy and I decided to spend one night in NYC last night and we wanted to get some Chinese food. We were at Grand Central Terminal waiting for the 6 train and we saw Zoe Kravitz and Ben Foster running to catch the 4 train but they missed it. I have a very good eye  for spotting celebs and I said to Andy, “Andy guess who that is?” He was like who?  And I told him it was Zoe Kravitz and that guy from Xmen with the wings. Of course Andy wasnt sure but he asked if I was sure. I told him, “Oh yeah! Its them alright.”

They were dressed cool and casual but you can tell they didnt want to be noticed because they wore hats and they didnt really make eye contact. Andy wanted to ask them for a pic but I told him to not worry bc I could tell they wanted their privacy. Plus I was in the subway and if we took a pic with them, everyone would’ve been nosy and asking for a pic too. But believe in me, if we were in a side street somewhere and no one was around I would have asked for a photo op.

They look so cute together. And she was carrying the same bag she had in the pic above. Nice. They ended up taking the 6 train with us but I’m not sure where they got off because they were in another car. Probably at Union Square.

I have been sick since Thursday and I dont like taking medicine. It’s nasty and I rather spend my money on a pair of shoes than on medicine. Shoes make me feel a whole lot better. Anyway, Andy couldnt take my coughing so after the mall we went to CVS to get some cough medicine. He asked me what brand should he buy and I told him Robitussin because I always hear its great and it helps heal broken bones. No seriously, that’s what I heard. But when I saw the price difference between Robitussin and Tussin, I told Andy to just buy the Tussin because it was only $3.99 and obviously the Robi- part of the medicine was too expensive because it costs $5.99. He basically told me not to be penny wise and pound foolish so he bought the Robitussin instead. See you cant put a price on love… and getting healthy.

ETA: I took Robitussin last night and surprise, surprise my coughing has gone from a 10 to a 1 on the coughing scale. Ten being bad of course. Thanx Robi-tussin :-).

My co-worker and long time friend, Richard, has invited myself and Andy tonite to his birthday party. We are going to the Feelgood Lounge in Secaucus and I am still sick and very tired, but I’m still going because this will be the first time…ever, that Andy and I have ever been to a lounge/club. Plus, I also gave Richard my word so I want to at least show my face.

And its like hand numbing, nail biting, snot freezing cold outside but we’re still going. The icing on the cake will be if we both have a really great time. We’ll see. I’ll keep you posted.

The Angels are singing tonight because Andy just admitted to me that he was WRONG! It was nothing serious but he brought up something which was very comical and I told him that it couldnt be true and he was emphatic that it was. He requested that I research this information and Boo Yow! He proved himself wrong. Hee Hee Hee!!! Let me tell you what happened…

While I was busy watching HGTV, Andy interrupted my regularly scheduled program to tell me that in case I am ever in a situation where I am being robbed at an ATM, I should input my pin # in reverse and this will prompt the police to come to my rescue and apprehend the suspect. Well he didnt say it in those words, but you get the idea.

Andy then went on to say that he got an email from a friend stating this information. Then I ask Andy, “Who sent you this email?” And he mentioned this “friend” who I dont care for too much. I told him, “Well if this email came from this person, then this information is definitely UNTRUE.”

Then I asked him if it’s true why dont the banks tell everyone about this. He said that its really true and that I should research this myself. So I looked it up on GOOGLE and I found an article that said Pin reversal to fool muggers is a HOAX. Hee Hee Hee! I’m sorry its really hard for me to type and laugh at the same time. Anyway, this article popped up and I laughed before I even read the headline to Andy. He asked me why was I laughing so I read the headline and he was shocked. He really thought this so called “pin reversal” mugger deterrent would bring the cops running. Its B.S.!

Andy then apologized and I burned a few extra calories from laughing. I thought the whole thing was cute :-).
