OMFG!

No, this is not an advert for Gossip Girl. This is my life. LOL! Anyways, remember when I just posted about getting a new hairdo (below)? Well, I took out my hair, yes out, yesterday morning. It was a sew-in hair weave. I have been natural for about 5 years and I am not looking to get a relaxer any time soon. So to change up my look, I opted to get a weave.

Anyways, I got a sew-in weave about a week ago and since day one my braids were too tight. I am used to getting braids and never in my life had I gotten braids this tight. I wanted to take out my hair the next day but I wanted to keep them in for at least a week. Since I got my hair done I have been in pain and keep getting headaches. The braids were too tight and they were becoming itchy.

And since I got my hair done I havent had a good night’s sleep. I loved my hair too and I didnt want to take it out but I did. Saturday morning at about 3 am I woke up because of course the hair and I comtemplated on whether I should take out the hair. I really, really, really didnt want to but the braids underneath the weave kept itching and were too tight I just gave in.

I planned on keeping the braids so at least I could wear a wig over them so my hair can relax from the stress of the braids. I went to the Beauty Supply store and I got a really nice wig but I couldnt keep the braids in anymore so I took them out too. Now my scalp is so tender and sore I cant even touch it.

I just washed my hair and I dont know what to do with it. However, I am thinking about cutting my hair. I am serious. This coming weekend I am going to cut my hair. I am not sure if I will cut it myself but my hair will be cut. We’ll see.
